Senior Java Engineer, Retail

Role & Responsibilities:

• Own the development lifecycle for consumer financing applications on the Autohero website.
• Lead PoCs, refactoring initiatives, and promote engineering best practices.
• Ensure high quality through monitoring, deployment, and maintenance of services.

Tech Stack & Environment:

• Primary technologies include Spring 5, Java 11+, AWS ECS, and Lambdas.
• Work in a cloud-based, microservice environment with Docker and CI/CD flows.
• Balance backend (80%) and frontend (20%) development using design patterns.

Qualifications & Collaboration:

• Proficient in the JVM ecosystem and experienced with PostgreSQL and Terraform.
• Collaborate closely within a remote-first team based in Berlin and Kyiv.
