LEAD AND DEVELOP THE COMMUNITY ENGINEERING TEAM:
- Coach and support a team of 3 Community Engineers working across contributor support, reviews, bug fixing, and ecosystem quality.
- Bring clarity, focus, and accountability to a team with broad scope and fast-changing priorities.
- Help shape the team as it grows, including hiring and defining strong performance.
IMPROVE COMMUNITY CONTRIBUTION SYSTEMS:
- Build and refine the processes, tooling, and feedback loops that help external contributors ship high-quality code.
- Identify friction in contributor workflows and make it easier for developers to contribute successfully.
- Increase the team’s leverage through automation and documentation.
MAINTAIN QUALITY ACROSS COMMUNITY-LED ENGINEERING WORK:
- Oversee how community pull requests, node submissions, and bug fixes are reviewed.
- Ensure community contributions meet our standards for quality and consistency.
- Step in hands-on when needed to review code, unblock issues, or support workflows.
