Forestry Technical Officer/Forestry Technical Manager

This position is a technical role within ACR, providing support to the ACR Forestry Director, Managing Director, and other team members. Responsibilities include conducting routine and increasingly complex GHG emissions reduction and removal project reviews accurately and independently, adhering to regulatory deadlines. It also involves providing technical support to external stakeholders, developing and maintaining systems for project record keeping, and attending site visits and performing audits. The role requires a functional understanding of GHG emissions/carbon accounting principles and expertise in ACR methodologies and compliance protocols. The successful candidate will possess strong technical and analytical expertise, pay excellent attention to detail, and be able to track and adhere to deadlines. They must also have a willingness to learn, be comfortable in a flexible, fast-paced environment, and share a commitment to Winrock’s mission.
