Job Description
As a Mortgage Underwriter with Banner Bank you will apply the underwriting standards adopted by the Board of Directors, Investors, Agencies, and all regulatory and/or policy requirements. In this role you'll have the opportunity to be responsible for underwriting residential loan applications to ensure compliance with Investors, Banner Bank Portfolio, all secondary marketing conduits and private mortgage insurance companies. Facilitate and support all loan production staff in matters of residential underwriting. Assist loan officers and processors with origination of complex and/or problematic loans. Responsible for complying with policies, procedures, security requirements, and government regulations.
