Land Acquisition SME

This position will report directly to the Vice President of Land and work closely with the Development Team to lead real estate work streams on multiple large scale projects, land campaigns and land acquisition efforts in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment. Responsibilities and Duties include support various aspects of the Company's land acquisition process, from site due diligence to negotiating and securing all aspects of site control, including helping to resolve title and survey matters to closing site control agreements in connection with financing and construction. The role also involves negotiating complex land and site acquisition agreements, managing 3rd party land agents, initiating and managing mineral ownership reports and surface waiver agreement campaigns, and maintaining site control trackers and providing progress reports internally. Manage and work with landowners and community groups to facilitate strong community engagement and foster good relationships with the landowners.
