SQL Database Administrator

VetsEZ is seeking a SQL Database Administrator to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of SQL, structured, and unstructured data within the HSP technology stack, currently Azure, ensuring robust architecture, scalability, and high availability. The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining database systems including SQL Server, Azure SQL, Synapse, and file-based semi-structured data formats. Responsibilities include monitoring and optimizing database performance, implementing backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions, ensuring database security, and performing regular database maintenance tasks. This position also requires providing technical support and guidance to users, developers, and IT staff, and working closely with the development team to optimize database design and support application development.
