Job Description

The Admissions EMAR Services Technician inputs computer data entry of medications and medical records into the client’s Electronic Medical Records (EMR) System. This position requires accurate and timely entry of all medication orders and medical records into the client computer system, following Remote Data Entry training sheets. Responsibilities include processing medication and ancillary orders at a set productivity standard, contacting clients for verification of orders, prioritizing order entry based on patient arrival time, and performing reconciliation of skilled nursing community EMR orders against pharmacy order entry. The role also involves reporting medication errors or order entry discrepancies, collaborating with team members, and assisting with research of lost or missing orders. Providing excellent customer service and completing admission tracking spreadsheets are also key functions.
