Position Overview:
- Director of Product - AI Underwriting owns correctness of ARIVE AI's Underwriting Rules and Pre-Underwrite outputs.
- This is an underwriting-expert-first role for someone who also understands AI impact.
- Reports to executive leadership, will start as individual contributor with potential to grow a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, test, and verify Underwriting Rules against agency guides and investor guidelines.
- Work directly with lender credit teams to confirm rule accuracy.
- Own Pre-Underwrite outputs end to end and define quality KPIs.
Underwriting Expertise:
- Full-file depth across income, asset, credit, and collateral underwriting disciplines.
- Breadth across agency and Non-QM programs.
- Mastery of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA guidelines.
