We’re seeking a Staff API Software Engineer to lead the charge on Healthie’s GraphQL API—the backbone of our rapidly expanding developer ecosystem. This isn’t a role where you simply consume APIs; it’s about building APIs as products in their own right : elegant, scalable, and a joy to use. Healthie’s API processes over 1 billion calls every month , powering custom experiences, analytics, and integrations that touch millions of patients’ lives. As Staff Engineer, you’ll set the bar for what “world-class” means in healthcare APIs—designing systems that scale effortlessly, obsessing over every millisecond, and crafting developer experiences so smooth they feel invisible. You’ll shape architecture, mentor engineers, and partner with leadership to chart the future of our platform.
