Goods & Services is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to strengthen and evolve the platform’s core services.
Focus on improving security, modernizing legacy components, and developing scalable backend solutions.
Contribute to key platform initiatives, service optimization, and workflow orchestration.

What you’ll do:

Design and implement secure API gateway capabilities including authentication, authorization, token validation, access controls, rate limiting, monitoring, and caching.
Consolidate and modernize backend services and APIs to create unified, scalable, and maintainable service interfaces.
Decompose legacy monolithic components into modular services and implement event-driven integrations.

What you’ll need:

Strong backend engineering experience with RESTful API development, API Gateway, IAM, and cloud security.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, particularly API Gateway, IAM, S3, EventBridge, and Step Functions.
Experience designing event-driven architectures and modernizing legacy monolithic applications.
