Monitoring:
- Provide leadership and monitoring expertise to strengthen the timely use of real-time, high-quality data.
- Develop or review fit-for-purpose monitoring plans for strategic projects and proposals.
- Lead or support the development of guidance and set standards for data use.
Thought Leadership/Knowledge Management:
- Recommend and implement fit-for-purpose information systems to provide relevant, timely and high-quality routine monitoring data.
- Develop knowledge products for internal and external dissemination.
- Identify and foster opportunities for internal learning, capacity building, and P2P/cross-country exchanges.
Program Management:
- Develop and review M&E plans to ensure that they are fit-for-purpose and robust.
- Support activity budgeting, monitoring of project timelines, and reporting.
Fundraising:
- Contribute to new business development by writing or reviewing M&E plans and results frameworks for proposals and concept notes.
- Provide guidance on budgeting to ensure adequate resourcing of monitoring activities.
