Job Description
Oversee clinical inpatient UM staff, ensuring they effectively perform utilization management (UM) reviews for inpatient cases. The role works closely with the Care Coordination and Care Management teams to assure appropriate utilization reviews and efficient care delivery. The Supervisor will also ensure adherence to internal and external policies, regulations, and goals. This role will require Admin on-call on weekends/holidays.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ in recent Managed care experience required.
- Experience supervising staff and monitoring productivity/performance required.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing: Registered Nursing.
- Clear and current CA RN license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of acute and/or primary care experience preferred.
- Experience with Medical Criteria Group application preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or other clinical advanced degree preferred.
