What you'll do:
- Own identity, roles, permissions, and authorization end to end, granular enough for demanding customers and rigorous for bank charter.
- Run it as a platform, setting how other product teams engage with yours to speed them up rather than slow them down.
- Make it easier for founders to bring their whole team onto Mercury by finding why they hesitate and making invitation obvious.
What we need from you:
- 7+ years of product management experience, preferably on horizontal or platform teams for identity, roles, and authorization.
- Taste and judgment to balance product against platform, refusing the trade-off between power and complexity.
- A point of view on agentic action and how it affects identity when the actor isn't human.
