As the Senior Engineering Manager for Backend DUX, you'll lead a team of incredibly talented engineers in creating a developer ecosystem which delivers speed, quality, and enjoyment for Mercury's 200+ engineers. Mercury's primary backend language is Haskell, and your team is comprised of industry recognized thought leaders in that community. You'll report to the Director of Stability, Infrastructure, and Developer UX, work alongside other platform teams whose overarching mission is to achieve startup-like developer effectiveness at scale.
As an Engineering Intern, you’ll join a team that aligns with your goals and interests. You’ll be receiving mentorship from experienced engineers, writing TypeScript and/or Haskell code, and contributing to a product that serves over 100,000 businesses. You can expect to collaborate with data analysts, provide a backend to mobile and web frontends, build admin tools, and integrate with third-party APIs.

The AML Advisory team is seeking a subject matter expert to advise investigations teams, risk managers, product owners, and other stakeholders, enhancing BSA/AML enterprise standards and ensuring alignment with Fraud/Transaction Monitoring (TMS) and KYC.
This person will help manage both our external partners and internal partnerships team operations and processes. The Partnerships team is a very collaborative team and works very closely with all functions in the company. You will use data and writing to create clarity on our strategy and attainment, setting up regular communications and health metrics.

The Risk User Experience team responds to transaction limit request increases and makes risk decisions on queued payments. As a people manager, you’ll oversee projects, implement product solutions, and bring operational rigor to the team.
Manage a team of individual contributors and managers that are key cross functional players to Mercury’s product, legal, compliance, and finance teams and build out Mercury’s network of potential partners. Be the internal expert on the fintech partner ecosystem and build our knowledge base on how this system works. Clearly communicate the compliance, regulatory, and technical products of Mercury accurately in order to liaison between product teams and win over external partners.
Respond to transaction limit request increases, make risk decisions on queued payments, and leverage your general risk knowledge to escalate unusual or high risk behavior to relevant teams. Provide great user experiences to Mercury users while making highly efficient and high quality risk assessments. You will report directly to the Risk User Experience Manager and will be supported by a highly functional Risk team.
