Role Summary:
- This is a strategy-driven organic social media management role, not a content creation or paid advertising role.
- The candidate owns content planning, scheduling, captioning, and engagement across owned social channels.
- Strategic ownership of the overall social media calendar and growth approach is expected.
Core Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve the content pillar strategy and build monthly content calendars aligned to the weekly posting rhythm.
- Schedule and publish all approved content across owned social channels on a consistent cadence.
- Write captions in the founder's authentic first-person voice, matching tone to content pillar.
- Monitor and respond to comments and DMs in a timely manner, proactively engage with community members.
- Track engagement, follower growth, reach, and content performance, and report monthly with clear recommendations.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years managing organic social strategy for a brand or founder personal page.
- Strong working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining content calendars, and strong caption and short-form copywriting skills.
- Experience managing comments, DMs, and community engagement professionally and on-brand.
- Beauty, hair care, or CPG experience strongly preferred.
