ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Design and build this system from scratch: the infrastructure, the data pipelines, the attribution logic, and the APIs that power it.
  • Work autonomously at first, then grow a team around the system you create.
  • This is a high-impact, zero-to-one engineering challenge at the intersection of mobile, backend infrastructure, and data.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define the attribution logic and models (last-click, probabilistic, fingerprinting, etc.) that power accurate campaign measurement
  • Work closely with the Growth and Product teams to ensure the system surfaces the right data for decision-making
  • Lay the technical foundation with future team growth in mind — your architecture decisions will shape how this team scales

ABOUT YOU:

  • 7+ years of backend engineering experience, with a strong track record of building complex, high-scale systems
  • Deep understanding of how mobile attribution works: SKAdNetwork, fingerprinting, device signals, postback systems, ad network integrations
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical challenges
