Buyer – Defense Procurement

As part of continued growth, ERG is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Buyer to join the Procurement & Supply Chain team. This individual will manage the full procurement lifecycle for materials, components, and services in support of Department of Defense (DoD) contracts. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of federal acquisition regulations, experience working with DCMA oversight, and a proven ability to manage supplier relationships within a highly regulated environment. Oversee cradle-to-grave procurement processes in full compliance with FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and company policies. Prepare and issue purchase orders and subcontracts aligned with DoD contract requirements. Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to contract terms. Collaborate with government personnel and DCMA representatives on inspections, reporting, and contract oversight. Maintain accurate and audit-ready procurement documentation, including for CPSR reviews.
