Background Check Lead Specialist

A self-driven individual with meticulous attention to detail combined with a high degree of integrity is needed to join the team as a Background Check Specialist. Day-to-day activities will encompass managing the background adjudication process, handling sensitive information with discretion, addressing identity verification impacting pros, and playing a pivotal role in executing data privacy initiatives such as data retrieval requests. Independently review and adjudicate background check results for service professionals on the Thumbtack platform, make informed decisions regarding the eligibility of service professionals based on background check findings and address and resolve identity verification matters affecting service professionals. Provide clear and timely information to users regarding background check and privacy-related inquiries. Assist with the creation and execution of OKR’s and KPI’s to measure success. Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion expected.
