Settlement Department Team Lead

About the Role:

• Lead the settlement department as a true manager, not as a senior individual contributor.
• Be measured by the performance of your negotiators and the department's overall results.
• Work with structured workflows, defined stages, and performance standards calibrated to how cases move.

What You'll Own:

• Directly manage a large team of settlement negotiators, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Own key performance indicators: settlement volume, average value, capture rate, and client recovery.
• Serve as final internal authority on case valuation and settlement strategy within approval limits.

Qualifications:

• Three to five years of progressive personal injury experience, with substantial time in pre-suit settlement.
• Three or more years managing a settlements or pre-litigation team with responsibility for others' results.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, with working knowledge of Florida personal injury law.
