Sr. Manager, Data Engineering

Role Overview:

• High-impact leadership role building and scaling a modern data engineering foundation from the ground up.
• Lead a growing global team while remaining hands-on with architecture, engineering standards, and cloud data platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish engineering and architecture standards spanning code quality, testing, documentation, security, and maintainability.
• Oversee production data engineering across ingestion, transformation, and consumption using GCP, BigQuery, dbt, and Airflow.
• Drive AI adoption across workflows and ensure human review, testing, and accountability for AI-assisted outputs.

Who You Are:

• Experienced leader with 3+ years managing data engineering teams and 5+ years hands-on cloud experience.
• Expert in data modeling and cloud platforms with strong project execution and delivery management skills.
• Comfortable with ambiguity, proactive, and results-oriented with excellent stakeholder communication.
