Job Description
This is a hands-on Software Engineer role with an AI focus, joining a new team based in Toronto. In this founding engineer role, you’ll work closely with product managers, data scientists, and other engineers in both the U.S. and India to design, build, and ship the next generation of AI-powered commerce solutions, including Ally and OCC. Build and deploy real AI tools, not just consume pre-built services and collaborate with a talented, distributed engineering organization serving the world’s largest brands.
You will develop scalable backend services (Java preferred; Python also welcome) and contribute to full-stack features, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring AI-powered capabilities to market. You will write code that integrates and deploys AI models (including LLM APIs), focusing on building tools that deliver real-time insights to users.
