Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and support high-availability electricity market and grid management software.
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot power systems applications.
- Collaborate in Agile teams for software design, testing, and production support.
Required Skills:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field.
- Strong background in Power Systems Analysis and Application Software Development.
- Hands-on coding in Java, C++, .NET.
Preferred Experience:
- Supporting Energy Management Systems (EMS) or utility grid software.
- Knowledge of grid modernization and integrated grid solutions.
- Experience with SCUC, Economic Dispatch, MIP optimization algorithms.
This role involves developing high-availability electricity market and grid management software. The contractor will join an Agile team to design and support power systems applications.
