Responsibilities:
- Lead the Mechanical Engineering design efforts for a team of junior and senior engineers and designers on challenging assignments.
- Coordinate detailed design phases for all aspects of mechanical engineering work, develop integrated systems designs, and perform supporting calculations.
- Prepare technical specifications for mechanical engineering equipment and engineering studies, and perform independent reviews of work performed by others.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program is required, with a Master's degree preferred.
- Ten or more years of experience in designing mechanical systems for heavy industrial plants such as power, oil & gas, or chemical, including equipment selection and specification.
- Three or more years of experience leading an engineering design team through all project phases, with a PE license and proficiency in creating design schematics using computer software.
