Role Overview:
- The HB Coding Strategic Data Analyst transforms complex coding data into actionable insights for Northwestern Medicine's Hospital Billing Coding operations.
- This role supports coding leadership by developing reports, dashboards, and analytics that drive performance, compliance, and strategic decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and KPIs related to productivity, quality, accounts receivable, and workflow outcomes.
- Analyze coding and revenue cycle data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, utilize Epic and CAC technology, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Requires an Associate's degree in health information management or related field and 3 years of data analytics experience.
- Working knowledge of Epic, computer-assisted coding technology, and advanced Excel functions is required.
