Sr. Business Data Analyst

Role Overview:

• Develop and maintain dashboards and ad-hoc reports in Excel, Tableau, and PowerPoint.
• Partner with end-users to define business needs and validate data extracts.
• Utilize SQL and data warehouse tools to extract and analyze complex datasets.

Data Analysis:

• Validate data extracts and investigate discrepancies to identify root causes.
• Review EMR accounts and brainstorm creative solutions for revenue cycle issues.
• Support ad-hoc and standing management or customer requests for data insights.

Communication and Leadership:

• Work directly with clients and project leaders to define analytical requirements.
• Communicate complex financial and operational information to senior leaders.
• Train and mentor less experienced analysts for seamless transition of responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
• 1-2 years of hospital revenue cycle billing experience with financial analysis, 3-5 preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, Tableau, EPIC, and managed care plan knowledge.
