Senior Software Engineer, Database

What you'll be working on:

• Design and implement new features for InfluxDB 3, including Import/Export, Data Transformation Pipelines (the Processing Engine), and WebUI integration.
• Debug and fix issues, including performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and other production issues.
• Work directly with the platform team to improve operational aspects of InfluxDB 3, including monitoring, alerting, and observability.

What we're looking for:

• 8+ years of professional software experience with deep knowledge of at least one of Rust, C++, or Go (Rust preferred).
• Experience building high-throughput, low-latency systems in a distributed environment.
• Proficiency in working closely with product managers, sales, and support to understand customer needs and translate them into technical requirements.
