Senior Machine Learning Engineer

About the Role:

• We are hiring a Senior ML Engineer to build our customer-facing AI platform and get the first features into customers' hands.
• Our data runs at real scale: over 100 million product and pricing records a day from retailers and marketplaces worldwide.
• The problems are concrete: product matching, classification, attribute extraction, where the right answer mixes trained models, embeddings, retrieval, and LLMs.

What You Will Do:

• Take customer problems from idea to working prototype quickly, prove or kill with data, and move what works into production.
• Train, fine-tune, and evaluate models for matching, classification, and extraction using classical ML, embeddings, and LLMs.
• Design and ship RAG systems, embedding-based retrieval, and LLM-powered features on AWS, owning the full ML lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years in ML engineering, applied data science, or AI engineering with a track record of shipping to production.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and MLOps tooling like MLflow or SageMaker.
• Strong Python and engineering habits: version control, testing, CI/CD, and daily use of AI coding assistants.

Additional Information:

• Base pay part of total compensation, established individually based on experience, education, and geography.
• Hiring range for base annual pay is CAD $160-200k with performance-based bonuses.
• This job is available remotely in a professional office environment.
