Job Description

As an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner with Proficient or Advanced suitability, working as a Team Lead will see you make a real difference in the lives of people living with disability by helping them and those around them. You will focus on enhancing quality of life, reducing behaviours of concern and promoting the rights of people with disability. You will support and lead a team of Behaviour Support Practitioners to deliver evidence-based, person-centred positive behaviour support services to participants in the community. You will undertake the support for your own reduced caseload of participants of all ages by providing exceptional evidence-based, person-centred positive behaviour supports, identify, provide input, and implement ongoing quality improvement opportunities for service delivery by OCA. You will provide leadership that optimises individual potential and supports team members to thrive as clinicians, whilst also working collaboratively with the leadership group to optimise the quality of supports provided.
