Job Description
You will build automated, highly reliable image delivery, testing and publication pipelines. Design, build and integrate new features and enhancements into Ubuntu that will support users of Ubuntu in public clouds. The role requires collaborating proactively with a distributed team, writing high quality code to create new features, and designing complex new systems and integrations with the clouds. Debugging issues, reviewing code, and participating in design discussions are also key aspects. The position involves remote work with global travel for internal and external events, engaging with teams at Canonical, the open source community, and commercial partners. The ideal candidate loves technology, values soft skills, and has experience with public clouds, containers, DevOps automation, open source projects, APIs, Linux systems administration, and Python software development on Linux.
