Job Description
A Centralized Case Opener in the Claims Legal Operations team is responsible for initiating legal matters in the Passport system based on referrals received through the ECOS platform. This role ensures timely and accurate case setup, compliance with documentation standards, and coordination with legal and claims staff. Responsibilities include performing daily clerical tasks following documented standard work procedures, accurately processing referrals and requests within defined service-level agreements, maintaining and updating internal systems with case and workflow data, and communicating with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies or escalate issues.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred), 1β2 years of clerical or administrative experience, strong attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and effective communication skills. This role will have a 100% REMOTE work schedule, with occasional office visits as needed.
