Job Functions:
- Collaborate across teams to execute data-driven newsletter growth strategies aligned with Afar’s editorial mission.
- Work closely with Editor in Chief to brainstorm ideas for daily content and recurring franchises.
- Define measurement and testing strategy, oversee redesigns, and lead headline development for reader engagement.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years experience as a newsletter director at a media company.
- Exceptional editorial judgement and data-informed decision-making.
- Deep interest in newsletter format and experience with digital analytics tools.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range $135,000 - $145,000 a year.
- Remote position with a focus on travel storytelling.
