Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinates communications to students and sends emails where appropriate, following up on FAFSA and missing document renewals.
- Works on externship and graduation clearance processes to prevent students from leaving school with a balance, checking NSLDS for default status and loan limits.
- Answers inquiries via phone and email regarding financial aid and student account issues, proactively reducing average accounts receivable.
Compliance and Environment:
- Demonstrates knowledge and follows all federal and state compliance requirements, including those from the Department of Education and accrediting agencies.
- Effectively communicates compliance requirements to students and staff, escalating any concerns to the Compliance department.
- This is a full-time remote position with occasional planned travel; requires a home office setup with high-speed internet and flexibility for evenings and weekends.
