Staff Systems Engineer

About the Role:

• You will work on building and managing Canadian sovereign cloud on Google Cloud and contribute to globally distributed clouds.
• You'll gain experience in major public clouds and underlying infrastructure like DNS, LDAP, Linux, messaging systems.

What You Will Do:

• Be the primary team to build and manage our Canadian based sovereign cloud running on Google Cloud.
• Manage enterprise infrastructure at scale with code using Terraform & Crossplane on public cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Develop and onboard new services using Go, Python, and automation tools like Puppet and Ansible.

Qualifications:

• 8 years experience in systems engineering, cloud, or infrastructure automation with a Bachelor's degree.
• Experience writing code to automate and provision infrastructure in Python, Go, or Java.
• Technical competencies in cloud, infra as code, Kubernetes, and infrastructure management.

What We Offer:

• Base pay range of $125,700 - 220,000 CAD, plus equity and variable compensation.
