Role and Responsibilities:
- Own the performance posture of the Edge Network, from testing strategy to shipping latency improvements.
- Operate at the intersection of systems engineering, network infrastructure, and developer experience.
Key Activities:
- Design staged rollout processes for performance-sensitive changes and own the test-to-production feedback loop.
- Guide ops, dev, and support engineers through technical direction and runbooks to raise performance literacy.
Collaboration and Impact:
- Partner with Product, R&D, Network, and Security teams to ship performance-aware features.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert during performance incidents and drive post-incident improvements.
