Manager, Cloud DBA

Ivanti is seeking an experienced Cloud DBA Manager with expertise in SQL Server on Azure and AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in managing cloud database operations, and the ability to drive database strategy in a cloud environment. This role involves leading a team of DBAs, managing and optimizing databases hosted on Azure and AWS, and developing cloud database architecture strategies. The candidate will conduct performance tuning, enforce security best practices, implement backup and disaster recovery solutions, and collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless database integrations. You will also establish proactive monitoring and drive automation in database administration. To be successful, candidates must have extensive DBA experience with SQL Server in Azure and AWS, leadership experience in a cloud database environment, and expertise in high availability and disaster recovery solutions. Proficiency in database automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash is essential, along with a strong understanding of networking, security, and IAM in cloud environments.
