Job Description
This internship offers opportunities to track, review, and analyze reproductive freedom-related activity on Capitol Hill and administrative action in the executive branch, including hearings, markups, and floor votes. Interns will attend policy briefings and coalition meetings and assist with the organization’s work on intersectional commitments by tracking and monitoring developments in key policy areas. Responsibilities also include assisting with research and analysis of state and federal legislation related to reproductive freedom, researching records for federal executive and judicial nominees, and reviewing department materials for accuracy.
The internship provides a chance to develop skills in legislative/policy review and analysis, advocacy, and administrative/legal writing. Candidates should have a demonstrated commitment to Reproductive Freedom for All’s mission and strong writing, research, and organizational abilities. Experience with issue advocacy and policy analysis is a plus.
