Senior Backend Developer

We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to a key project within the Bitcoin and FinTech space. As part of the RSK Core team, you'll be responsible for evolving and maintaining the Rootstock platform reference client implementation and reviewing and promoting community contributions, playing a vital role in the platform’s ongoing development. Your key responsibilities include collaborating with engineers and cross-functional teams to implement new features, ensuring Rootstock remains secure and robust, improving the user experience of Rootstock technologies, participating in design and code reviews, documenting new features, and engaging with an international community of contributors. Required skills include demonstrating advanced knowledge of object-oriented programming, particularly Java, thriving in collaboration with teammates, possessing proven experience working on technologically challenging projects, and demonstrating strong ownership, accountability, and attention to detail.
