Forward Deployed Engineer

About the Role:

• This role sits at the front line of Loadsmart's AI-driven automation work, taking AI agents and workflows built on our platforms and making them work in production for specific teams and workflows.
• You'll build integrations, tune AI behavior, and ship working software fast while feeding learnings back to the platform.

What You'll Do:

• Shadow client teams, design solutions for pain points, and build integrations against real systems like TMS, WMS, and ERP.
• Prototype and ship working automation such as automated check calls, shipment tracking, and voice or chat-based agents.
• Tune prompts and agent behavior based on production data and edge cases, and identify security and compliance requirements early.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience with strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing automated workflows and AI-driven solutions.
• Proven experience building APIs and integrations, and ability to work directly with non-technical stakeholders.
