Job Description
Centerline is searching for a GIS Engineering Technician who will assist with designing Fiber Optic Networks, develop and update GIS maps, drawings, and data detailing telecommunications plant and related equipment and support the construction, operation and maintenance of fiber optic networks and infrastructure. The chosen candidate will operate GIS hardware and software systems, including ArcPro, ArcGIS 10.8.x, ArcGIS Online, AutoCAD, Katapult Software, customer specific Fiber Management software such as Schneider Electric ArcFM or 3-GIS, Microsoft Office, computers, plotters and data collection devices. They will also gather, create, edit, and integrate geospatial data and associated attribute information in geodatabase formats including Shapefiles, KMZ’s, and file geodatabases. This is a remote role.
