Senior Software Engineer

CardioOne is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead and scale a high-performing backend and DevOps engineering team. In this pivotal role, you'll drive the delivery of scalable, secure, and reliable software systems that power our innovative virtual care platform. As a seasoned technical leader, you’ll be responsible for setting engineering best practices, guiding architectural decisions, and mentoring developers. This is a role with hands-on involvement in shaping product delivery, technical execution, and team growth as the company scales and will grow into a leadership position as the organization scales. You will report directly to the Director of Software Engineering. You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of applications, from development through deployment and operation, guide the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices. You will also write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers. You will review code, design, and deployment strategies to ensure best practices, code quality and technical excellence.
