Responsibilities:
- Own the monthly close: oversee reconciliation and close across FROs and consolidated levels.
- Keep grant reporting on track: provide financial oversight and detailed reports for grants and government entities.
- Turn numbers into insight: review monthly financial reports for relevance and advocate for improvements.
Qualifications:
- Nonprofit accounting pro: understand fund accounting, restricted vs. unrestricted donations, and government grants.
- Audit-seasoned: comfortable with audits, single audits, and 990 filings.
- Federal grants fluent: have managed federal grants and know agency acronyms.
