Director, Finance Ops (Premium Operations)

This position requires leadership of several remote teams and effective communication with a wide audience crossing all functions of the organization, including executive management at times. This role is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all Premium Operations accounting and finance functions; managing the accumulation of all financial data and reporting for budget, forecasting, actuals, and analyses; providing the organization with information vital to the decision-making process; managing the budget; assessing and improving current processes, controls, and systems; overseeing business performance metrics; driving results through thorough analysis, identifying and addressing risks and continuing team development.  Partners with the Vice President, Finance Operations to develop and drive short-, mid- and long-term strategies, plans, and budgets; and serves as strategic finance counsel. Interprets financial results for the non-financial executive effectively, driving results. Leads several teams with direct responsibility of all financial aspects of the operations including but not limited to monthly close, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cost analysis, capital spending, etc.
