As a BESS Operations Engineer on Intersect's Operations team, you'll own the technical performance, safety, and reliability of our utility-scale battery energy storage fleet.
You'll analyze operational data, lead root cause analyses on equipment faults, and partner with field teams and OEMs to resolve complex issues.

What You'll Do:

Lead BESS troubleshooting, reliability, and root cause analysis, reviewing equipment faults and telemetry data to mitigate downtime.
Optimize fleet performance by validating data collection and collaborating with engineers on system upgrades.
Manage OEM technical relationships and warranties to protect asset value and enforce performance guarantees.

What You'll Bring:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, with 5+ years of experience in utility-scale power generation or storage.
Deep technical knowledge of BESS architectures and proven track record leading root cause analysis.
Strong analytical skills in BESS telemetry and ability to travel up to 25% to operating sites.

Total Rewards:

Total compensation of $200,000 - $210,000 including base salary and bonus, plus equity grant.
