Principal AI Scientist

Research Leadership:

• Partner directly with the founder to shape scientific vision, research direction, and technical execution.
• Grow into a co-founding leadership role in a potential future spinout.

Technical Execution:

• Design, implement, and improve model post-training methods using reinforcement learning from biological measurements.
• Architect model training infrastructure and build, run, and debug models, training loops, and evaluation metrics.

Collaboration:

• Bridge wet/dry lab by ensuring experimental measurements and model learning are designed as a cohesive system.
• Work hands-on with the experimental team to coordinate data generation and model training.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base salary of $250,000 to $350,000 with potential upside from a co-founding leadership role.
