Controller

Financial Management & Reporting:

• Oversee all accounting operations including AP, AR, billing, payroll, and general ledger.
• Prepare and communicate timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements per GAAP.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, budgets, and indirect cost rates in compliance with FAR Part 31.

Government Contract Accounting & Compliance:

• Maintain accounting systems under FAR and CAS for government contracts.
• Administer project budgets, fee structures, and contract modifications across various contract types.
• Serve as financial liaison for government audits and monitor contract funding levels.

Project Financial Oversight:

• Partner with project managers to establish budgets, track earned value, and calculate estimates to complete.
• Review project cost reports, billing drafts, and labor utilization regularly.
• Support development of fee estimates and proposals for government clients.

Systems, Processes & Leadership:

• Maintain internal controls, optimize Unanet software, and implement process improvements.
• Ensure timely payroll, benefits reconciliation, and tax filings.
• Provide strategic financial perspective to leadership and support M&A, bonding, and audits.
