Manager, Workday Payroll, Time & Absence

Role Overview:

• Responsible for overseeing and optimizing the Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence modules within Workday HCM.
• Serves as the functional owner and subject matter expert for all related configuration, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own critical configuration areas across payroll calculations, time rules, and absence plans, ensuring changes are governed and tested.
• Manage Workday biannual releases, evaluating feature impacts and directing regression testing.
• Establish configuration governance and deployment standards, maintaining strong business process controls and audit readiness.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Information Systems, or a related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years in HRIS or HR technology roles, with at least 3+ years of hands-on Workday Payroll, Time and Absence configuration.
• Deep functional knowledge of Workday Payroll frameworks, time policies, and leave administration.
