Senior Energy Reporter

You’ll be part of a team focused on chronicling the people, companies and technologies that are shaping — and pulling back from — the energy transition. The position can be based anywhere in the continental U.S. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across the newsroom to report on the biggest stories and trends shaping energy; highlight the goals and motivations of key players in the field; and break news about where energy is headed during the Trump administration and beyond. Ideal candidates will embody an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for Axios’ mission. Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to break stories, spot trends for longer-range coverage, and convey contextual meaning to developments on the beat.
