Job Description
Aircraft Maintenance:
- Performs inspections and repairs of aircraft and components.
- Verifies part numbers and serial numbers match documentation during installation or removal.
- Requests aviation parts and supplies to maintain adequate inventory.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensures all aircraft maintenance documentation complies with regulations.
- Corrects compliance or safety issues as directed.
- Familiar with the company’s Safety Management System (SMS).
Additional Responsibilities:
- Serves as Lead Mechanic in the absence of the Lead Mechanic.
- Mentors mechanics within all maintenance functions and provides on-the-job training.
- Troubleshoots and provides problem-solving assistance to outlying mechanics.
