Staff Accountant, Corporate Accounting

We are seeking a motivated Staff Accountant to support our Corporate Accounting team. This pivotal role focuses on ensuring strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, and efficient accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong foundational knowledge of accounting, great attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow within a high-performing team. As Staff Accountant, you will take responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of assigned tasks, learning from both successes and errors. You'll assist with core accounting processes such as the monthly close, fixed asset tracking, accruals, prepaid expenses, and lease accounting, and follow established internal controls and help document accounting procedures to support compliance and audit readiness. You will also ensure all financial practices comply with accounting standards, laws, and regulations, escalating issues as needed, while helping identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy within the corporate accounting function and the border organization. Support audit requests by preparing schedules and documentation to ensure a smooth and timely audit process.
