Responsibilities:

  • Perform geoprocessing activities involving the collection, processing, analysis, and visualization of geospatial data.
  • Classify and analyze satellite imagery for applications including land use and land cover mapping, change detection, and thematic mapping.
  • Support the production and maintenance of geospatial process manuals and technical documentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cartographic Engineering, Forestry Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of GIS and practical familiarity with QGIS or ArcGIS.
  • Basic knowledge of cartography, remote sensing, and Brazilian biomes.
